Hooray for Summer! Welcome Devon Horse Show!

Hi All,

It is officially here! I hope you all have a lovely summer this year, and hope you think of us for anything you may need to help you enjoy it all the more! The summer array of lanterns, starfish, dishtowels, trays, pillows, jewelry, hurricanes and yet to arrive, starfish platters and bowls.

Also here are our fantastic display of equestrian accoutrements! From art to sculpture to the most incredible display of 'horse jewelry', or 'martingale brasses' you've ever seen! The horses wear them during parades and special occasions. Some depict Dickens characters, others, fox, shamrocks, etc. They won't be here for too long, so be sure to come and see them. There must be 100 of them! Larry really went all out. He collected each and every one and polished them all up so they shine like new. All imported from England, they are the real thing. From singles, to many multiples, what a phenomenal display for the store and even for you at home, to add that special touch!

SPRING!! Is it really here?

Hi All,

Is it here for good or gone again? We had such warm temperatures early on that all the trees and flowers bloomed early, many in the process still. Now we are all freezing again! Not to worry, summer will be here soon enough and we will all be complaining of the heat!

Come take a stroll through the store and you will feel a lot better! Spring has sprung here, and summer almost! We still have a lot of items on sale too. We are gearing up for the Devon Horse Show in May, and early in May, on the 9th, is our first annual DESIGNER NIGHT SOCIAL. If you are a registered designer, come enjoy your night here. It is a thank you to all our designers who help make us great. If you are a designer and haven't shopped with us yet, come out and meet us, bring your Tax ID, business information, and sign up. It is free to sign up, and you will be included in our DESIGNER PROGRAM. We'd love to have you as part of our HOB NOB FAMILY! Many designers already know what value we have to offer and we'd love you to be one of them. We also would like to know what you would like to see at the store so we can buy more efficiently! You are so valuable to us and mean so much to us!

It is May 9th, 5-8 pm; light refreshments, wine and a bonus shopping night with $50 back when you spend $250. If you respond before the 6th to let us know you are coming, you will be entered into our door prize event too!

                                                                              The 'budgie' lamp is so beautiful!! It is a rectangle shape, shade included; so easy to place on a chest or table if it is up against a wall since the shade doesn't interfere with it's placement, so it can get up close to a wall. The rest of the 'greens' are wonderful! Hard and soft, dull and shiny; it's all about opposites.

 I've got the blues again!! Oh my! Blues are back in a BIG way this year and are here to stay. NAVY??? What? OMG, they actually have NAVY this year; I just am so amazed. We beg every year, and get nada! But this time they came through, check out a few blues below!

I have a ton of other blue products coming in the next few weeks. Sorry my large navy urns sold the first week or so after I put them out, and they are sold out at the manufacturer. I am waiting to see if they will get them again. Navy is so appropriate anywhere; you don't have to have a shore house to use it! Individually, any of these items can be used independently of each other. The most fun is incorporating the "new" blues and designs in with the traditional blues like Canton and any other white and blue scheme. 

 I'll be back with more pics soon. Just received 22 framed prints and originals each one having a horse in the picture........you know me, I just can't get enough of horses, and I've only been on a horse twice in my life......I keep dreaming though!! The DERBY is coming up, so dig out the hats and have a party!! Thanks all, I'll be back soon!
